<p>PURPOSE: To stabilize the purity of product gas by reducing pressure variation and to improve the yield of a product by decreasing purge loss by equalizing the pressure between an adsorption column in which pressure is decreased for a regeneration process and an adsorption column in which pressure is increased for an adsorption process. CONSTITUTION: Raw material air is supplied to an adsorption column 8a to adsorption remove moisture an carbon dioxide, and regeneration gas is supplied to an adsorption column 8c to desorb the adsorbed moisture and carbon dioxide. In an adsorption column 8b, pressure is increased to an adsorption pressure after the completion of regeneration, after the passage of time for changeover, an inlet valve 1b and an outlet valve 2b are opened to carry out adsorption simultaneously in two columns. When a regeneration process in the column 8c is finished, an equalizing valve 7b is opened to equalize the pressure between the column 8a and the column 8c. After the pressure being equalized, the deaerating valve 6a of the column 8a is opened, after the pressure in the column 8a being reduced to the atmospheric pressure, the next regeneration process is prepared. In this way pressure variation can be reduced 50%.</p> |
