Device for locking a component pivoting between two end positions around an axis and being in the closed position for the closing of an access opening to a space surrounded by walls

A device is proposed which is used for the securing of a component that is movable between two end positions for the closing of a wall opening in a building. The device has a first fitting part fixed to the building and a second fitting part fixed to the component with means for locking the two fitting parts together fixed to one of the two fitting parts. One of the fitting parts is provided with a projection at the free end of which is arranged the means for locking. The projection is built as a separate component and is hinged to one of the fitting parts. The locking means are built as dowel-like bolts which are arranged to lie near the centre plane of one of the fitting part at a distance from this cenre plane. A further device is proposed which has a safety catch which engages automatically and which can be released by means of an unlatching element that can be inserted/removed through a guidance channel in the device. The guidance channel for the unlatching element is arranged transversally to the direction of movement of the locking element on the stationary guiding device thereof. In addition, a covering is mounted on one of the two fitting parts and provided with counter locking means co-operrating with further locking means.
