The oven door has a frame (7) with a least one porthole (15) closed by two panes (17,18) which are parallel and mutually spaced. The inner (7) and outer (18) panes are placed respectively at the side facing the oven chamber and the opposite side respectively to define, with the peripheral edge (16) of the porthole, an insulating casing connected with the environment by at least two upper and lower ventilation ways. The ventilation ways are formed in the thickness of the frame and open into the peripheral edge or the exterior glass is mounted at a distance from the external face (9).
