Adjuster controlling the distance or relative position between the flap of a valve and its seat on which it rests at the moment of closure. The assembly consists of the valve body (1) a valve shaft (4), a flap (5) two bearings (2,3) a valve seat (6) and a seat clamping ring (7). The assembly is characterised in that the upper bearing (2) and the lower bearing (3) have their centres machined out eccentrically compared to their outer diameters.
