Furnace burner for combustion of oxygen

The burner has a sheath (1) with a combustion chamber (2) inside containing a porous material (3), an inlet (4) for a gas mixture and an outlet (1b) for the combustion products. The porous material has a constant porosity in the chamber and the geometry of the chamber is such that the section increases in the direction of gas mixture flow. The combustion chamber is formed by two zones. A first zone (A) is contiguous to the inlet into which the flame is propagated in the direction of flow, and a second zone in which the frame is propagated against the flow.
