The motor (5) has a fluid-filled rotor space (10) which is sealed on the pump side by a seal (1) through which the motor shaft is passed for driving the circulation pump. A stationary partition wall (22) is provided within the rotor space, for enclosing the motor shaft between the seal and the rotor (8). The partition wall may have a conical taper in the direction of the rotor.
