<p>A neovascularization inhibitor containing as the active ingredient N-(3,4-dimethoxycinnamoyl)anthranilic acid represented by chemical formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, which has the activities of depressing the growth and migration of human capillary endothelial cells and the activity of inhibiting the canalization of the same, thus being useful as preventives and remedies for diseases caused by neovascularization, such as diabetic retinopathy, senile discoid macular degeneration, neovascular glaucoma, and rheumatic arthritis.</p> |
