The conveyor unit is formed as a flat telescope. The arm pairs are arranged at the front and the rear in the conveyor direction on the furthest outwardly movable flat telescope section (3a). Pivot axes (5a,5b) of the arm pairs (4a,4b) are connected with pivot drive devices (6,7), which run in the longitudinal direction (8) of the furthest outwardly movable flat telescope section (3a) and are kept there. Only one pivot drive device is driven by a drive motor (9) and the pivot drive devices in the areas of the arm pairs are connected by means of a cross drive transmission (10), whereby a pivot angle is adjustable.
