A printing device for changing or cancelling tickets is shown, with fourteen type rollers (12) in a frame (10) arranged side by side on a common axle (14) so that they can rotate freely. Each roller has twelve type faces (18) uniformly distributed on its circumference separated by a slot (20). Near the rollers there is fitted the setting unit (22), with a follower (24) in the shape of a cylinder and a projection (26) on the circumference capable of engaging in the slot between the faces, so that the angular position of a roller can be changed. The follower can be moved along the rollers one by one by means of a turning spindle (28).
