Pipeline components (10a,10b,10c,10d,10e), after the determination of the positions of entry shafts and the preparation of a press plane, are already pressed along the pipe feed extent. During the forward press process, intermediary press stations (14,15) with push-over plates (16,18) are inserted between two adjacent pipeline components (10a,10b) and (10d,10e) in such a way that after reaching the press target at the previously determined positions an intermediary press station is located. The intermediary press station (14) is so pushed apart that the prefabricated entry shaft to be positioned fits between the ends of the adjacent pipeline components (10a,10b).
