Plant glazing plastic slab or exceptionally thin film on both sides

This novel glazing plant, produces thermoplastic sheet, film or slab glazed on both sides. The plastic melt is delivered by a slit die, directly from the extruder. The inlet gap (7) facing the slit die is formed between the glazing roller (3) and an endless metal belt (6) which runs around idler rollers (4, 5). The endless belt lies tangentially to the glazing roller (3). It partly follows around the glazing roller, pressing against the plastic melt, whilst running between the idler rollers.
