Self-locking emergency lock

The slide (5) controlling the bolt (6) is moved in the lengthwise direction by a key, and is locked by the spring-loaded component (8) with the bolt in the retracted position. A divided core (9) has a lever (11) actuating the slide. The lock ward has a changeover component (12) slid in either direction by the key with the bolt retracted, and by which the halves of the core are coupled and uncoupled. In each end position the component is locked in position in relation to the lock plate. There can be an engagement lever (14) pivoting on the plate and moved by the key into the position coupling the core halves together.
