Double-leaf fire protection doors in building

The fire protection doors have two leaves (2,3) which may close in a pre-arranged sequence. Each of the two leaves has its own door-closing mechanism (6,7) and its own pair of rotary hinges (4) on which it can swing with respect to the fixed door frame. The adjacent edges of the two leaves have an overlapping joggle so that the doors must close in the correct sequence so that the edges fit together properly. The control mechanism includes a number of damping and blocking modules (17-19) connected to guide rails (12,13) and sliding arms.
