A high-pressure cleaning device with a pump driven by an electric motor in which the moved parts of the pump driven by the motor are placed in an oil filled housing located between the motor and the pump, the pump being located below the electric motor. In order to improve cooling and lubrification in the oil-filled housing the said housing presents at its highest point an opening connecting it to an oil supply container, which extends above the highest point of the housing.
