<p>An on-line, real-time, telephone call verification system (10, 12, 26, 31) is disclosed for verifying entries made to client records by agents responsive to verbal communications received over incoming telephone lines (20). The incoming verbal communications are stored in a compressed format in digital storage device (40, 42) in association with the client records and under control of a call manager (12) and call processor (10). Agents at the verification stations (50) retrieve client records to verify agent input to the records while listening to the associated recorded verbal communication retrieved, decompressed, and converted digital to analog signals. The system (10, 12, 26, 31) enables recording of verbal communications concurrently with retrieval of recorded verbal communications for verification functions.</p> |
