Interference signal suppression method for reception side of open serial optical fibre interface

The method involves several interfaces which contain a component with automatic level control, coupled to a device for servicing a serial, electric interface, operated at a preset, maximum data transmission rate. The received optical signal is converted into an adequate, electric binary state signal (100). The state signal is scanned, analysed, and compared with a preset-table signal pattern (200), which is derived from the preset, maximum data transmission rate. The signal pattern is presented by asynchronous sequential intervals with respect to the state signal, irrespective of state.
