Production of bromine-containing poly:ol compounds

The production of bromine-containing polyols (I) comprises reacting organic compounds (II) containing at least one bromine atom and at least one hydroxyl group with organic compounds (III) containing at least two epoxide groups. Also claimed are polyols (I) obtained by this process.
