A pneumatic spring between a movable body and a supporting wall has a gas cavity enclosed by a fixed wall element (2) which has a radially inward pointing support ring (3) on a tubular peripheral part. The support ring is supported axially on a plate (5) and has an axial pipe attachment (7) with an end pointing towards the inner opening (4) of the support ring. The pipe end (8) protrudes through the inner opening of the support ring. A radial wider part (9) grips under the support ring's inner rim (10) defining the inner opening and is axially spaced apart.
