Test system for ceramic plates w.r.t. gas tightness for HT fuel cells

The test system includes a container (3) with a flat opening, in which the vacuum is produced, with the ceramic plate (7) lying on the flat container opening. In addition pressing elements (9,11,12) are provided, for applying pressure on a ceramic plate lying on the edge (6) of the container opening. The supporting elements (5) are arranged at a distance from the ceramic plate in the unloaded condition. This distance is selected so that a deflecting plate, before its destruction, is prevented from further deflection of the supporting elements.
