<p>PURPOSE:To enable remarkable improvement in data rate, by forming an electron scanning only for an operating area excluding an area for which no searching is required. CONSTITUTION:Electron scanning is possible to the right and left of a normal of a radiation section in the way of directing a beam 5 corresponding to a mechanical rotation of an antenna radiation section 1. Then, a beam 5 is formed at an azimuth advanced only by an angle alpha in the direction of rotation with respect to the normal 3 of the antenna radiation section at a rotating position shown in Fig.(a) by a beam scanning function of the radiation section 1. Subsequently, a beam 5 is formed in a bearing the same as a normal 4 when the antenna radiation section directs to the normal 4 thereof as indicated in Fig.(b) decreasing an angle of advance of the beam 5 with the rotation of an antenna. As the normal 4 of the antenna radiation section passes by the beam, a relative angle of the way of directing the beam 5 is delayed from the normal of the antenna radiation section and then, when the antenna radiation section makes one turn and direct to the normal 3 again as indicated in Fig.(c), a beam 5 is formed in a direction delayed by an angle alpha with respect to the direction of rotation. Thereafter, the beam is subjected to an electron scanning by an angle of 2alpha immediately and then, the operation returns to the state of Fig.(a).</p> |
