Equipment for checking packings of cooled goods in a deep cooled equipment includes a comparable packing which is inserted together with the packings of cooled goods in a cooling trunk. The comparable packing is fitted with a readable temperature measuring instrument (4). The instrument (4) is embedded in a split block of a transparent plastic material. The split transparent block is provided with an opening (5) for reading the embedded temperature measuring instrument (4). Alternatively the comparable packing consists of a box in which is enclosed a transparent plastics material in which is embedded the temperature measuring instrument. The box and the transparent plastics material are provided with an opening for reading the measured temperature.
