The filler appliance (1) has a linear guide (14) extending parallel to the filling plane (13) and along which a spatula (15) runs. The spatula has a scraper edge sliding along a top edge of the mould. An inlet for the material has a mixer trough (3) containing a spiral stirrer (5). A portioning slide pusher (9) is positioned near a discharge opening (7) in the mixer trough. An adjustment (18) in the form of a pneumatic cylinder is positioned near a carriage (16) carrying the spatula and moves the spatula. Weighing scales are positioned near the stacker plate (21) for the material. The mould (25) is sited near a conveyor plate (24) movable along a conveyor direction. The portioning plate (12) has a sloping entry (22) facing the filler part (20).
