Solid particle dispersion developer precursors for photographic elements

A dispersion comprising solid particles of a developer precursor having the structure CD-(T)m-S in which CD is a silver halide color developer, T is a timing group, m is an integer from 0 to 6, and S is a blocking group, and a vehicle in which the solid particles are insoluble, is disclosed. The dispersion can be incorporated in a photographic element.
