<p>The invention relates to a hydraulic circuit for an artificial kidney in which the dialysis liquid circuit comprises an ultrafilter (10) intended to free the dialysis liquid of the microorganisms and, possibly, the pyrogenic elements which it might contain. In order to check the integrity and the efficacy of the membrane on a permanent basis, pressure sensors (23, 24) are arranged upstream and downstream of the ultrafilter, the information from these sensors being transmitted to a control unit (27) which then determines the transmembrane pressure and compares it to predetermined threshold values. In the case where the transmembrane pressure reaches one of the threshold values, the unit (27) controls the emission of a visual and/or acoustic signal and, if appropriate, the start-up of a branch circuit of the ultrafilter by the dialysis liquid. <IMAGE></p> |
