PURPOSE:To prevent a protected object from being exposed to the danger of demolition due to bombing or the like by a target, and to reduce the damage of the protected object, by judging the presence of danger to be caused by the target to the protected object and by giving the preferential allocation of firearms to a firearm having the greatest effectiveness in the firing against the target. CONSTITUTION:As the first judgement for the possibility of firing, it is judged that whether or not a predicted course E (assuming to be a straight course) which a target T would take and which is determined based on the position and velocity VT of the target T is within the range zone J of a firearm F, which are set by the radius of the maximum range RF with a position of the firearm F as a center. When the target T takes a course outside the firing limits, the firing is judged to be impossible. Further, as the second judgement, when the predicted course E of the target is within the range zone J of the firearm F, and entering point A where the predicted course E of the target comes into the firing zone J and a leaving point B where the same comes thereout are determined, and then, firing points C and D respectively corresponding to the entering point A and the leaving point B are determined. Furthermore, when the firearm is equipped with a radar, it is judged, as the third judgement, that whether or not the distance between the target T and the firearm F is within the acquisition zone (generally displayed with a circle with the firearm F as a center) of the firearm radar. When the distance is not inside the acquisition range, the firing is judged to be impossible. |
