摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain high magnetic field current density and excellent mechanical strength by forming a compressed powder molding with the theoretical density of the preset value or above and an intermediate sintered body and a sintered body with the oxide superconducting powder and the precursor powder of the oxide superconductor. The sintered body 1 thus manufactured is filled in a metal tube 2 to form a composite body 3. Shrink processing is applied to the composite body 3 with a rotary swaging device A to compress the sintered body 1. Shrink processing is repeated several times to compress it to the desired diameter, and the sintered body with the compression density of 90% or above against the theoretical density of zero porosity is obtained.
