<p>PURPOSE:To increase a working efficiency with a remote control to save operator's labour, by providing a pneumatic rotary cylinder on the frame of a horizontal boring machine and fitting an extensible cylinder in the rotary shaft to support an openable handle. CONSTITUTION:A rotary arm is formed by a pneumatic rotary cylinder 12 fitted on the bracket 10 provided on the frame 2 of a horizontal boring machine and an extensible cylinder 9 attached to the rotary shaft 13 to keep an openable handle 7. Next, the openable handle 7 is transferred from point C to point B to hold a jacking pipe and also transferred to point D and further to point E by a rotary cylinder 12. And the handle is transferred to point F by contraction of the extensible cylinder 9 and rotary transferred to point G to reach the axial point H of the jacking apparatus. And then the jacking pipe is released and rotary transferred to point I to reach point C. In this way, operations can be remotely controlled.</p> |
