PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographing device equipped with a recording medium carrying means which does not damage a recording medium, and is excellent in operation ability, and can miniaturize the whole device even if assembled in another device. SOLUTION: In an electrophotographing device which carrys out electro static charge, exposure, development, transcription and fixing, the device is equipped with a recording medium passage detecting means 26 for detecting that the recording medium 21 has passed through a fixing section D and a driving direction changing over means for changing over the driving direction of the fixing section D and a recording medium carrying section C, and after the recording medium 21 passes through the fixing section D, the driving direction of the fixing section D and the recording medium carrying section C is changed over to discharge the recording medium 21 at the same position as an inserting position as it is returned. Since the recording medium 21 is therefore discharged at the same position as the inserting position, the whole of device can be miniaturized even if assembled in other device such as ATM or the like. |
