SPECIFIC GRAVITY SEPARATION METHOD FOR WASTE PLASTIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific gravity separation method for waste plastic in which the classification and recovery of waste plastic classified by kinds out of a waste plastic mixture composed of plastics of different kinds by a simple treatment process and a simple equipment thereof. SOLUTION: A waste plastic mixture 1 crushed into given sizes in the crushing process is classified into heavy specific gravity plastic 2 and light specific gravity plastic 3 by using a vibration selector 10 in the vibration selection process. The heavy specific gravity plastic 2 is moved to the upper section of a tilting rotary table 12 by blowing from a blower 13 and the vibration in the X direction by the tilting rotary table 12 and recovered into a heavy specific gravity plastic recovering box 15. The light specific gravity plastic 3 is moved to the lower section of the tilting rotary table and recovered into a light specific gravity plastic recovering box 16.
