<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous ink composition free from the occurrence of a phenomenon of dripping of ink from the tip of a pen even in the case where the writing device is exposed to a severe temperature changing condition and excellent in flowing ability of ink, etc., by compounding a water-soluble dye, a wet stimulant, a water-soluble organic solvent and water as essential components. SOLUTION: This aqueous ink composition for a writing device is obtained by compounding (A) a water-soluble dye, (B) a compound selected from gelatin, a methylcellulose, a hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, an alginic acid propylene glycol ester, a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block polymer having a molecular weight of 10,000-23,000 and the molar number of oxypropylene of 25-70, (C) a water-soluble organic solvent and (D) water as essential components. The ink composition is useful for a writing device having a pen body attached at one end of a shaft body through an ink flow speed-adjusting body and an ink tank for storing free ink and made of a hydrophobic plastic material inside the shaft body. The component B is preferably contained in an amount of 0.01-1wt.% in the ink composition.</p> |
