CO-EXTRUSION BUILDING EXTERIOR DECORATIVE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a co-extrusion building exterior decorative material, that is, a resin extrusion shaped material excellent in weatherability and having a grain like design. SOLUTION: A colored thermoplastic resin and an uncolored acrylic resin excellent in weatherabllity and containing a matting agent are subjected to co-extrusion not only to laminate and form an acrylic resin coating layer 12 on the surface of a thermoplastic resin base material 11 but also to flatten the surface of the coating layer and the boundary surface 13 of the base material and the coating layer is made uneven to make the thickness of the coating layer non-uniform to develop a grain like design wherein the thin part of the coating layer becomes a dark color and the thick part thereof becomes a light color.
