CO-EXTRUSION BUILDING EXTERIOR DECORATIVE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a co-extrusion building exterior decorative material, that is, a resin extrusion shaped material excellent in weatherability and having a grain-like design. SOLUTION: An uncolored or colored thermoplastlc resin and colored acryllc resin excellent in weatherability are subjected to co-extrusion not only to laminate and form an acryllc resin coating layer 12 on the surface of a thermoplastic resin base material 11 but also to flatten the surface of the coating layer and the boundary surface 13 of the base material and the coating layer is made uneven to make the thickness of the coating layer non-uniform to develop a grain like design wherein the thick part of the coating layer becomes a dark color and the thin part thereof becomes a light color.
