SOLUTION: In an exhaust gas purification catalyst which promotes the combustion of particulate substances contained in exhaust gas discharged from diesel engines, etc., a composition of a metal element consisting of one kind or two or more kinds of 1A group elements and complex oxide consisting of a general formula of Ln1-x AxMO3 (Ln is element consisting of one kind or two or more kind of 1A group elements; A is element consisting of one kind or two or more kinds of Li, Na, K, etc.; M is element consisting of one kind or two or more kinds of Cr, Mn, Co, etc.; the value of x is in range of 0<=x<=1) is used. A exhaust gas purification filter is constituted by providing a catalyst support and the exhaust gas purification catalyst which is supported on the surface of the support. |
