FAULT NOTIFICATION SYSTEM FOR CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the smooth start of a device after its fault is recovered without discontinuing the unit sequence by turning on an alarm line to notify a host device of a fault which is developed in a follower device. SOLUTION: A fault developed place decision means 1 decides whether the developed place of a detected fault is included in a follower device. At the same time, a notification presence/absence decision means 2 decides whether the detected fault is notified by a host device. Then an alarm means 3 turns on an alarm line to notify the host device of occurrence of the fault when the means 1 decides that the fault developed place is included in the follower device or when the fault developed place is not included in the follower device and also the means 2 decided that the occurrence of the fault is not notified by the host device. Then a stop request sending means 4 sends a stop request to the host device for the transfer sequence after the end of the unit sequence where the occurrence of the fault is detected.
