PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric filter which is light in weight and can be inexpensively and simply manufactured. SOLUTION: In this dielectric filter, the main part is composed of a resin filter case 1 which is molded into a box shape by an injection molding and whose surface is metal-plated, and a dielectric resonator 4, input side and output side connectors 5 and 7, input side and output side antennas 6 and 8, cover material and a frequency adjusting screw which are mounted, respectively within this case. Because a resin filter case whose surface is metal-plated is applied in place of a conventional filter case obtained by machining a metal body such as duralumin, etc., in this filter, the weight is remarkably reduced and material cost and working cost are remarkably reduced. Therefore, the dielectric filter can be inexpensively mass-produced. |
