<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive automobile lock fastening/unfastening device which can prevent illegal unfastening operations and prevent a key from being left in a vehicle by using simple constitution. SOLUTION: When a theft preventing switch is operated for locking, a lock gear 15 is rotated from a neutral position, and the engaging part 21 of a slider 20 placed on the upper surface of the lock gear 15 is engaged in the first engaging support part 23 of an engaging groove 27, so that the lock gear 15 is stopped in a lock position to restrain a position gear 16 from turning in the unfastening direction. Therefore, illegal unfastening is prevented. When insertion of a key into an ignition key cylinder and the open state of the door are detected, the lock gear 15 is turned from the neutral position, and the engaging part 21 of the slider 20 is engaged in the second engaging support part 25 of the engaging groove 27, so that the lock gear 15 is stopped in an unlock position to keep the position gear 16 from rotating in the locking direction. Thus leaving the key in the automobile is prevented.</p> |
