PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly feed a developer onto a developing area as much as possible without reducing the rotationary speed of a developing roller. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a developer control blade 16 for controlling the feeding of the developer 14 so that the developer 14 is made in contact with the surface of a developing roller 13 first near a developing area 12, thereby minimizing the disturbance of the developer 14 by the developing roller 13 even if the developing roller 13 is rotated at high speed, and preventing the developer in excess from inversely flowing on the developing roller 13 by the developer control blade 16. As a result, non-uniformity of a developing capacity due to the uneven feeding of the developer 14 is minimized. |
