PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve processing accuracy better than before and to reduce a processing cost in an image input device for picking up the partial image of an object by moving an image pickup device and obtaining a desired image by an image synthesis processing. SOLUTION: By integrating the image pickup device 10 and a position detector 11 by a supporting device 2, the position of the image pickup device 10 at the time of obtaining the partial image is detected and the image pickup device 10 is supported so as to be stably moved while keeping a distance with the object. Based on the position detected by the position detector 11, by limiting the object area of a processing for deciding the position on a synthetic image of the partial image by a candidate area setting device 16, the processing cost is reduced and the processing accuracy is improved. |
