PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of the machine in a copy mode by having preference to the double-sided print in the copy mode when the data are received from the outside while the double-sided print is, carried out in the copy mode. SOLUTION: When a facsimile is received and the double-sided print is carried out in a facsimile mode, a double-sided unit 7 is used in one case and not used in another case. Thus it is monitored whether a copy application uses the unit 7 at the facsimile reception time. At the same time, the double- sided print is designated and the facsimile reception data are outputted via the double-sided print if the copy application does not use the unit 7. If the copy application uses the unit 7, the facsimile reception data are outputted via the single-sided print when the time counted by a time count means exceeds the prescribed time. |
