PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silky woven and knitted fabric having a peachlike soft feeling, dry touch and swollen feeling and useful for texture, etc., of clothing in which a fashionability or a designing property is important, by weaving or knitting filament yarn mixed of gear cross section-type fibers with specific two kinds of fibers, subjecting to an alkali-weight losing treatment and dye- finishing. SOLUTION: Filament yarns mixed of (A) gear cross section-type conjugate fiber having a cross section filled of a polyester-based component having a larger solubility in an alkali between each tooth part 2 in another polyester- based gear cross section-type fiber 1, (B) polyester-based large fiber size fiber having >=3de fiber size and (C) polyester-based small fiber size fiber having <=1.5de fiber size and boiling water shrinkage of >=3%, different from the component B (components B and C respectively have cross sections having a flat trunk part and projected parts) are subjected to weaving or knitting. The resultant texture is subjected to an alkali-weight losing treatment and the component between each tooth part 2 is removed by dissolving and the shrinkage difference between the B- and C-fibers is manifested by dye-finishing. |
