PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an illegal transaction from being generated at an unmanned system by authenticating an application program only when a signature is coincident with one of signatures stored in a retrieval table. SOLUTION: An ATM 10 is composed of a user interface in the shape of a front panel 12 and further provided with a controller unit 30 for communicating with the components of the front panel 12 as well. When a transaction request is received from a user, a signature related with the application program is acquired. This signature is compared with a lot of signatures stored in the retrieval table of a register unit 38 and only when this signature is coincident with one of stored signatures, the application program is authenticated. Thus, corresponding to the request of the user requiring the execution of the application program, the application program is authenticated and the access of the application program to valuable system resources is enabled. |
