CARD AND PASSBOOK ENCLOSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a card and a passbook which have been correctly checked to be enclosed into an envelope. SOLUTION: A card mount with a card attached is supplied by a card mount supplier 1 to a transfer conveyer 4, while a passbook is supplied to the transfer conveyer 4 by a passbook supplier 2. A bar code on the card mount is read by a bar code reader 1a, and an account No. on the passbook is read by an image input device 2a. Then the bar code on the card mount is checked against the account No. on the passbook by a controller 10. The card mount and the passbook on the transfer conveyer 4 are enclosed into an envelope by an enclosing mechanism 5 thereafter.
