PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fitting of male and female connectors from being unexpectedly released by stopping deflection of a flexible lock arm of a connector housing by means of a fitting detecting member. SOLUTION: In a connector, a fitting detecting member 3 is provided on an operating part 11 of a flexible lock arm 6 of a connector housing 2 so as to be slid in the connector fitting direction, a locking protrusion 22 of a flexible detecting arm 4 of the fitting detecting member 3 can be brought in slide-contact with and locked on a lock part 9 of the flexible lock arm 6, a contact projecting part 5 in relation to the flexible detecting arm 4 locked in a deflection space 8 of the flexible lock arm 6 is provided on the connector housing 2, and deflection of the flexible lock arm 6 is prevented. An operating plate part 18 of the fitting detecting member 3 covers the front end part 25 of a counterpart connector housing 13 in the locking state of the flexible detecting arm 4. |
