PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the off-axis image point movement error of a photographic lens system which has high close-up capability. SOLUTION: This lens has a 1st lens group with positive refracting power and a 2nd lens group with positive refracting power in order form an object side. For focusing from an infinite-distance body to a near object, the 1st lens group Gr1 and 2nd lens group Gr2 are both moved to the object side. For hand shake correction, at least part of the 2nd lens group Gr2 is moved at right angles to the optical axis. Further, 0.25<|βmax|holds for the photographic powerβmax in the shortest-distance focusing state.
