PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a 3-hydroxypyridinium crosslink-contained peptide fragment derived from bone collagen by providing a peptide having two amino acid sequences derived from the carboxyl terminal telopeptide area ofαI(I) chain of bone I-type collagen. SOLUTION: The amino acid sequence derived from carboxyl terminal telopeptide area ofαI(I) chain of bone I-type collagen contains Glu-K-Ala-His- Asp-Gly-Gly-Arg (K: a part of 3-hydroxypyridinium crosslink selected from hydroxylysilpyridinoline and lysilpyridinoline represented by K-K-K). The molecular weight of the peptide fragment is set less than 5000. A peptide fragment containing the 3-hydroxypyridium crosslink contains a specific monoclonal antibody. The body fluid is selected from urine, synovial fluid and serum, and the body fluid is brought into contact with an immunological connecting partner specific to the peptide fragment.
|
