<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change an indicating content without exchange of labels, by providing an eliminatable indication element in which visual information can be repeatedly recorded on the indication part. SOLUTION: A reversible indication element 4 is provided in the recess 2 on the upper face of a VTR cassette case 1 to form an indication part 3. The reversible indication element 4 is provided with a conductive layer 5, a liquid crystal/polymer composite film (PDLC film) 6, and a protection layer 7. Information is written in the indication part 3 or eliminated therefrom in a print head and an elimination head of an index device. Information is written by heating the indication part 3 in the print head and eliminated by applying an electric field to the indication part 3 in the elimination head. Accordingly, visual information can be recorded repeatedly on the indication part and also eliminated repeatedly from the indication part.</p> |
