PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously stir all containers containing magnetic particles, by shaking a liquid of pellets including particles that can attract magnetism, thereby suspending the liquid again. SOLUTION: A container 3 is loaded on a shaking means 1, and a ferrite magnet 2 is disposed in the neighborhood of the container 3. A solution feed means 4 and a solution discharge means 5 are arranged in the periphery of the container 3. The magnet 2 is arranged so that pellets are formed at the side part of the container 3, that is, N and S poles of the magnet 2 are arranged perpendicularly at the side part of the container 3. Pellets are formed by bringing the magnet 2 near to the container 3 storing iron beads, nucleic acid and a purification solution. A supernatant liquid is removed by a pipet, and a fresh solution is added from the solution feed means 4. The magnet 2 is let to approach from above the container 3. At the same time, the container 3 is shaken to suspend the solution again. A container-supporting part 6 supporting the container 3 is connected to a motor 8 via an eccentric cam 7, so that the shaking means 1 shakes the container. |
