PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary pump for a continuously variable drive furnished with a coupling for compensation of run-out between shafts due to rotation of a drive shaft and movement except for deformation, for example, due to vibration. SOLUTION: This pump is furnished with housing parts 30, 31 and a rotor 32 having a drive shaft 43. A movable discharge member 33 is stored in a groove of the rotor 32. The rotor 32 is surrounded by a cam ring 34. End surfaces 35, 36 are adjacent to two side surfaces of the rotor 32, and at least one of the end surfaces is furnished with one or more than one of supply opening parts and delivery opening parts. The cam ring 34, the rotor 32, the discharge member 33 and the end surfaces 35, 36 set a boundary of a pump chamber. A compensating coupling 38 installed on a bearing in the pump housing and rotation of which is stabilized is arranged between the rotor 32 and the drive shaft 43. An installation member in the pump housing is engaged with a circumference of the compensating coupling 38 and is adjacent to one rotating surface of the rotor 32. |
