PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the misstart of an electric motor car during charging by supplying a signal so as to break the power transmission from a motor to a clutch, and controlling a drive mechanism when it is in charge by a detection means. SOLUTION: A power transmission system from a motor 2 to a tire 3 is provided with a clutch 7, and the clutch 7 is operated by the signal from a control means 8, and the power to the tire 3 is transmitted or broken. It is detected that it is in charging by the currents from a charger 4 at the time of having connected connectors 5A and 5B, and the detection signal is sent to a control means 8, and during charging, the clutch 7 is kept in cut off condition. Hereby, during charging, it is kept in such condition that the power transmission from the motor 2 to the tire 3 is broken at all times, which can prevent the electric motorcar from being started by a mistake. |
