PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a mail receiver to transmit the mails to many other receivers regardless of types of their terminal equipments by deciding whether the mail data should be converted into the facsimile data, based on an ID number. SOLUTION: An ID retrieval processing part 15 retrieves whether a received ID is already registered and notifies a system control part 11 of this retrieval result. If the received ID is already registered, the type of a working terminal of the address that is registered in a terminal register memory 14 in response to a member ID and based on the address ID. The part 15 notifies the part 11 of the retrieved type of the working terminal. Then the part 11 checks whether a terminal equipment is equal to a facsimile equipment. If the terminal equipment is equal to a facsimile equipment, an instruction is given with an address ID to a facsimile mail accumulation part 20 to accumulate the facsimile mails. If the terminal equipment is equal to an equipment other than the facsimile equipment, an instruction is given with an address ID to a character mail accumulation control part 16 to accumulate the character mails. |
